Privacy Policy

This page explains what happens to your data when you visit this website. It is short because this site does very little: it has no contact form, no newsletter, no account area and no database. Nothing you do here is stored against your name.

What is collected
Navigation data. Like every website, this one runs on a server that records technical information when a page is requested: your IP address, the time of the request, the page asked for, and basic information about your browser and device. This happens automatically and is needed for the site to reach you at all.
Aggregate statistics. We count page views to understand which pages are useful. The tool used for this sets no cookie, writes nothing to your device and builds no persistent identifier, so it cannot follow you from one visit to the next or across other websites.
Nothing else. There is no form on this site, so there is nothing for you to fill in and nothing for us to keep. If you choose to write to us on WhatsApp, by telephone or by email, those conversations happen outside this website and we keep them only as long as we need in order to reply.
Why, and on what legal basis
To deliver the pages and keep the site secure and working, on the basis of our legitimate interest (art. 6.1.f GDPR).
To measure how the site is used, in aggregate and without identifying anyone, on the basis of our legitimate interest (art. 6.1.f GDPR). You can object to this at any time using the contact details on this page.
To meet obligations the law places on us, where they apply (art. 6.1.c GDPR).
Who else sees it
The site is hosted by Vercel Inc., which also provides the aggregate statistics. Vercel acts as a processor on our instructions under art. 28 GDPR.
Your data is never sold, and it is not shared with anyone for advertising.
Data leaving the EU
Vercel Inc. is based in the United States, so some processing takes place outside the European Economic Area. The transfer is covered by the safeguards foreseen in Chapter V of the GDPR, namely the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses together with the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
How long it is kept
Server logs are kept for a short technical period and then discarded.
Usage statistics are aggregated and hold nothing that points to an individual, so they are not personal data once aggregated and are kept as long as they remain useful.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for access to your data, and for it to be corrected, deleted or restricted. You can object to processing based on legitimate interest, and you can ask for your data in a portable form.
Write to the email address on the contact page to exercise any of these. If you believe your data has been handled improperly you can also complain to the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, the Italian supervisory authority, at garanteprivacy.it.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, the date at the top of the page changes with it.
