Accessibility Statement

Everyone should be able to read this site, plan a day here and reach us, whatever device or assistive technology they use. This page says what standard the site is built to, what we have checked, and how to tell us when something does not work for you.
The standard
This statement applies to torresaracenacapri.com. The site is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA, the technical standard referenced by the European Accessibility Act as implemented in Italy by Legislative Decree 82/2022.
What we have checked
Colour contrast on every combination of text and background used on the site, including controls and focus indicators, all measured against the AA thresholds.
Full keyboard navigation: every link, button and menu can be reached and operated without a mouse, with a visible focus indicator on light and dark backgrounds, and a skip link to the content on every page.
A correct heading structure on every page, labels on every control, and text alternatives on meaningful images.
Touch targets sized for a thumb on the controls that matter on a phone.
Motion is reduced automatically for visitors whose system asks for it: the opening animation is skipped and the film does not autoplay.
About the opening film
The short film on the home page is decorative. It plays silently, carries no speech and conveys no information that the page does not also give in text, so no captions or audio description are required for it. A still image takes its place when motion is reduced or the connection is slow.
Conformity status
To the best of our knowledge the site conforms to WCAG 2.1 AA. This assessment is a self-evaluation, carried out during development with automated checks and manual testing, most recently on 7 August 2026. It has not yet been audited by an independent third party.
